# Inviting members

> How to invite angels, assessors, project leads, and additional admins to your group.

AngelHub has five roles. Each role sees a different view of the platform and has access to different features.

## The five roles

| Role               | What they do                                   | Active stages                  |

| **Admin**          | Manages the group — members, settings, billing | All stages                     |
| **Assessor**       | Screens applications for pitch readiness       | Created → Screening → Pitching |

| **Angel (Member)** | Reviews deals, votes, uses AngelAI             | Pitching → DD → Completion     |
| **Entrepreneur**   | Submits and tracks their own application       | Their application only         |

Entrepreneurs are not invited — they apply through your public application link.

## Inviting someone

1. Go to **Members → Invite member**
2. Enter their email address
3. Select their role
4. Click **Send invitation**

They'll receive an email with a link to create their account. The invitation expires after 7 days.

  On the **Free plan**, angels per deal are limited to 5 and only 1 admin is included. **Pro** includes 2 admins and unlimited angels per deal. **Scale** includes 3 admins, with additional admins available at £10/month each.

## Assigning a Project Lead to a deal

Project Leads are assigned per project, not per group. When a project moves to pitching stage, the admin assigns a Project Lead from the project page. Any angel member can be assigned as Project Lead on a specific deal.

## Who can send group emails

Group admins, assessors, and project leads can all compose and send group emails from the **Emails** screen. Ordinary angel members and entrepreneurs cannot send group emails. All sends are logged in the Emails sent history, visible to admins.

## Managing existing members

From the **Members** list you can:

* **Resend an invitation** — for members who haven't accepted yet
* **Change a member's role** — takes effect immediately
* **Remove a member** — they lose access immediately. Historical activity is retained for audit purposes.

## Adding a second admin

On the **Pro plan**, you can have up to 2 admins. On **Scale**, up to 3. Additional admins beyond 3 on Scale are available at £10/month each, charged from the first day of the following month.
