# Using AngelAI

> How angel members can use AngelAI to support their investment decision-making.

## AngelAI for angel members

AngelAI is available to all angel members on active projects. It draws on the AngelHub knowledge base to help you think through deals more clearly.

## AI response limits by plan

| Plan  | AI responses per month |
| ----- | ---------------------- |
| Free  | 50                     |
| Pro   | 150                    |
| Scale | Unlimited              |

The limit is shared across the whole group — not per person. If you see a message that the monthly limit has been reached, speak to your group admin about upgrading. Limits reset on the first of each calendar month.

## What to ask AngelAI

**Understanding the business**

* "This company is a B2B SaaS business selling to NHS trusts. What should I understand about this sector?"
* "The company has £120k ARR growing 15% month-on-month. Is that strong for a business at this stage?"

**Challenging the DD findings**

* "The Project Lead assessed the team as strong, but neither founder has commercial sales experience. Should I be concerned?"
* "The financial model projects gross margin improving from 40% to 65% in year three. Is that trajectory credible?"

**Understanding the terms**

* "What does a 20% discount on an ASA mean for my effective valuation?"
* "The term sheet includes weighted average anti-dilution. How does that protect me in a down round?"

**EIS and tax**

* "Does this company's structure affect my EIS eligibility?"
* "When does my three-year EIS hold period start if the company used an ASA?"

## Reading AngelAI responses

Each response shows a confidence level and a suggested follow-up question.

## What AngelAI will not do

AngelAI will not tell you whether to invest. It will not give you personal legal or tax advice. For questions about your specific EIS/SEIS position or personal tax situation, speak to a qualified adviser.
